When can I submit a nomination?

A complete nomination package, i.e., the nomination and three confirmed endorsements, must be received by the deadline date in order to be considered in the current cycle.

Who is qualified to be an endorser?
Endorsements should be from colleagues to whom the candidate reported or was in some way responsible for the work reported, or who have a comprehensive knowledge of the candidate's work (co-authors, collaborators). ACM membership is not a requirement for the endorsers of Senior Member candidates. Endorsers must attest that: 1) they know the candidate and their work, 2) that the candidate accurately described their achievements as outlined in the nomination; 3) these accomplishments meet their best understanding of the criteria for Senior Member.

How do my endorsers submit their endorsements?
Endorsements must be submitted online using the encrypted URL that the candidate provides to the endorsers. After an endorsement is submitted, the endorser will receive an email from senior@acm.org with an encrypted URL to confirm the endorsement. Endorsements must be confirmed to be counted. Please note that the endorsers' statements are considered to be of particular significance to the Senior Member Committee. The character limit for endorsers' comments is 2,500.

If an endorser does not receive the URL to confirm the endorsement, he or she should contact us at senior@acm.org. The email message may have been caught in a spam filter, or the email address may have been entered incorrectly.
