How to Nominate

Overview

This biennial endowed award will recognize an individual(s) for outstanding research contributions to the field of computational science and engineering. The contribution(s) for which the award is made must be publicly available and may belong to any aspect of computational science in its broadest sense. The award will include a certificate and a cash prize of $5,000.  Financial sponsorship of the award is provided by SIAM.

Call for Nominations

The SIAM/ACM Prize in Computational Science & Engineering is awarded every other year by the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) and the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) in the area of computational science in recognition of outstanding contributions to the development and use of mathematical and computational tools and methods for the solution of science and engineering problems.  The award is presented in February or March of each year at the SIAM Conference on Computational Science and Engineering and is accompanied by a prize of $5,000 plus travel to attend the award ceremony.

Nominations for the SIAM/ACM Prize in Computational Science & Engineering should be submitted following the instructions in the SIAM Call for Nominations.
