AAAI/ACM Conference on AI, Ethics, and Society, February 2 to 3, New Orleans, Louisiana

The ACM Special Interest Group on Artificial Intelligence (SIGAI) and AAAI are launching AIES 2018, a new conference to be co-located with AAAI-18. As AI becomes more pervasive in everyday life, its impact on society is raising concerns about issues such as value alignment, data handling and bias, regulations, and workforce displacement. AIES will tap experts from various disciplines, such as ethics, philosophy, economics, sociology, psychology, law, history, and politics, to address these issues.
